Life-safety isn’t a place for assumptions. As you evaluate technology, the most dependable decisions come from what’s in production today, how it’s monitored, and how it performs in real communities. Below is a short checklist we encourage teams to use with any vendor—us included—and a summary of how we meet those standards.

At-a-glance reliability:

  • 24/7 active monitoring with published P1/P2 response and resolution targets
  • 50-state compliance checks: fit confirmed upfront—before contract or install
  • In-production detection and call system (not pilots or beta)
  • Readiness across IL / AL / MC / SNF with resident-first install/training standards
  • Transparent terms and total cost disclosed upfront (no surprises)

7-POINT CHECKLIST

  1. Production-ready today: Call system and detection live in production; hardware shipping with documented lead times/inventory.
  2. Care-setting fit: IL / AL / MC / SNF functionality live (not pilots/beta).
  3. Monitoring & SLAs: 24/7 active monitoring with published P1/P2 response + resolution targets.
  4. References: 50–100 live buildings you can speak with this week.
  5. Integration proof: EHR / nurse call / RTLS working in production with named sites.
  6. Outcomes & process: Measured results (falls, response times, transfers) and a documented incident-handling playbook.
  7. Transparent terms & cost: Pilot-first with clear exit terms; modular, occupancy-based pricing; post-promotion pricing and TCO disclosed up front (no paying for empty units).
